In the early 1900's, Agnes Alexander introduced the Bahá'í Faith
to Hawaii after discovering it on a trip to Europe. The Bahá'í
community was one of the earliest to form in the western hemisphere.
There now a vibrant community here, with a national center in Honolulu
and local centers in Makawao on Maui and Pua on the Big Island.
